Specialty coffee roasters · New Delhi
No warehouse. No aged stock. Two roasters, small batches, and a date on every bag.
01 — Why
India grows extraordinary coffee.
Almost all of it leaves.
We keep the best of it here.
Chikmagalur · Coorg · Koraput · Yercaud
Bought by the sack from estates we visit, and kept unroasted. Green coffee holds for months. Roasted coffee does not.
Small batches, read by colour and by ear. Nothing here is roasted to a forecast.
Out of the drum fast and stirred until the heat is gone. Anything slower and the bean keeps roasting itself.
We hold green, never roasted. Your order starts the roast, not the other way round.
Every batch is brewed against the last one before it is allowed to leave the room.
02 — How
Source
The same estates, season after season. Chikmagalur, Coorg, Koraput, Yercaud.
Roast
Two kilos at a time, on a Silon ZR7 and a Solar 2kg. Nothing is roasted to a forecast.
Log
Charge, turning point, first crack, development time. Every batch, tasted against the last.
Ship
Out of the roastery within 48 hours, with the roast date on the bag.
One lot at a time
Green, unroasted, stable for months. It becomes coffee on the day you ask for it.

03 — For cafés
Roasted to order, shipped in 48 hours, and never sold to you before you have tasted it on your own bar.
Three bags to brew on your own machine before you commit to anything.
Your team, your machine, a recipe card for every drink on your menu.
Your rate is set on a 15-minute call, against your blend and your volume.
04 — The library
Coffee should taste like where it came from and when it was roasted. Everything else is packaging.
BROOT Coffee Roasters · New Delhi
BROOT is a specialty coffee roastery in New Delhi. We buy green coffee directly from Indian estates — Chikmagalur, Coorg, Koraput and Yercaud — roast it in two-kilo batches, and dispatch within 48 hours of your order with the roast date printed on the bag. You can buy coffee beans online as whole bean or ground for your brewer — espresso, pour over, French press, AeroPress, moka pot, cold brew or the South Indian filter — and it ships across India.
Freshly roasted coffee is a different product from the packet on a shelf. Most coffee sold online in India was roasted months before it was bought, because it was roasted to a forecast and warehoused. We hold unroasted green, which keeps, and roast after you order, which is why every bag carries a roast date instead of a shelf life. The range runs from single origin coffee from named estates, through espresso blends built to hold their shape in milk, to fine robusta we take as seriously as the arabica.
New to it? The sixty-second quiz narrows thirty-odd coffees to one, the brew guides cover every method with the exact ratios we use, and a coffee subscription puts a freshly roasted bag on your doorstep every month without you thinking about it. Cafés are a different conversation — wholesale coffee supply starts with free samples and a fifteen-minute call.
