Udaygiri is in Karnataka. Our lot sheet does not give us the district, the elevation, the grower or the size of the farm, and rather than borrow numbers from the region we have left those blank — the ledger above says so, and the map shows the state, not a pin.

The washed process keeps the cup articulate where a deep roast usually flattens it. On filter the citrus is subtle rather than sharp — just enough to lift the cocoa and brown sugar underneath. As espresso it goes dense and bittersweet, and the chocolate and nut hold their shape rather than collapsing into ash.
