Microlot Coffees

A microlot is a very small, separately harvested and processed lot — often one block of one farm in one season — kept apart because it is exceptional.

These are the coffees that show what Indian estates can actually do when they are given room to experiment: anaerobic fermentations, yeast cultures, extended natural dries, unusual varietals. Volumes are tiny and they do not come back.

If you want to understand what the fuss is about, brew one as pour over before you try it as espresso.
