They are the four our customers keep coming back for, and they are four different cups, not four versions of one roast. A week of brewing one bag after another shows you which direction you like.

Choose whole bean, or one grind for the whole box. Roasted to order in New Delhi. Each bag makes about six filter cups, so it is a trial of each coffee rather than a full bag of any.

Storing it

Seal the bag after every use and keep it somewhere cool, dry and dark. Not the fridge, not the freezer — both move moisture into the beans.

  1. What is in the box

    MOSS THEORY is an SLN 9 peaberry from Kerehaklu Estate in Karnataka, dense and layered. COZY COOKIE is a washed Yirgacheffe from Ethiopia, soft and biscuity. DARK MATTER is a Vienna-roast Indian blend, built for milk and for strength. RED LANTERN is a natural Canephora from Vietnam's Central Highlands, with a heavy body and low acidity. The notes above are for filter.

  2. Why these four

    They are the four our customers keep coming back for, and they do not overlap. One is a fruit-forward peaberry, one a washed Ethiopian roasted for sweetness, one a deep roast for milk, one a Canephora with weight. We roast thirty-plus coffees, and this is the shortest route to the one that becomes your everyday.

  3. How to use it

    Each bag is 100 g. At 15 g a brew that is six filter cups with a little over. Brew one bag at a time, the same way, so the coffee is the only thing that changes. One cup tells you little. A week tells you which one you reach for.

Can I swap one of the four?

No. The four are fixed: Moss Theory, Cozy Cookie, Dark Matter and Red Lantern. To choose your own five, use Pick Your Five.

Which grind should I choose?

Choose one grind for the whole box when you add it to the cart: whole bean, home or commercial espresso, South Indian filter, AeroPress, moka pot, pour-over, Chemex, French press or cold brew. Not sure? Choose whole bean. A ground bag cannot be un-ground.

Is it a good first order?

Yes, that is what it is for. Four different cups in one week show you which direction you like, and the next full bag becomes an easy choice.

How fresh will it be?

Roasted to order in New Delhi and dispatched within 1–2 working days. Delivery across India is free and usually takes 3–6 days.

Can I return a coffee I do not like?

An opened bag cannot be returned, because the coffee is roasted for you. If an order arrives damaged, wrong or stale, tell us within 48 hours of delivery, with photos, and we will make it right.
