  1. What it is

A burr grinder you turn by hand. There is a crank, a chamber for the grounds and no power socket, so there is no cable to find and nothing to charge. You grind one dose at a time, at the counter or away from it.

  2. Why we stock it

Ground coffee loses most of its aroma within days and most of its character within two weeks. That is the whole case for grinding at the last minute, and for keeping the beans whole until then. A hand grinder does it one dose at a time, without a plug, in a kitchen or on a trip.

  3. Using it well

Weigh the beans before they go in: 15 g for a pour-over cup, 16 g for an AeroPress, 17 g for a three-cup moka pot. Turn at an even pace and hold the grinder steady. Grind sizes are not the same from one grinder to the next, so start from our chart and move one step at a time. It is slower than a machine, and a full pot means a lot of turning.

How to use it

05steps
  1. Weigh the beans

    Whole bean: 15 g for a pour-over cup, 16 g for an AeroPress, 17 g for a three-cup moka pot.

  2. Set the grind

Medium for pour-over, medium-fine for an AeroPress, like table salt for a moka pot. Start there and taste.

  3. Turn the crank

Hold the grinder steady with your free hand and turn at an even pace until the beans are through.

  4. Brew straight away

Tip the grounds from the chamber into your brewer within the minute. The aroma goes first.

  5. Adjust by one step

A sour cup wants a finer grind. A bitter cup wants a coarser one. Change one thing at a time.

Keep it

Tip out the last grounds after each use and keep it dry.

Pair it

  • Whole bean coffee.
  • A scale, for the dose.

05questions
Which setting for which brewer?

Start from our grind chart: medium for pour-over, medium-fine for an AeroPress, like table salt for a moka pot. Settings are not the same from one grinder to the next, so taste, then move one step at a time.

Can it grind fine enough for espresso?

Not every hand grinder reaches espresso fineness. If espresso is your plan, message us on WhatsApp before you order and we will confirm.

Does it need power?

No. A crank turns the burrs, so there is no power socket, no cable and nothing to charge.

How much can I grind at once?

It is made for one dose at a time: weigh what you are about to brew, grind it, and brew straight away.

How long does delivery take?

Packed after you order and dispatched within 1–2 working days. Delivery usually takes 3–6 days across India, depending on where you are, and shipping is free.
