  1. What it is

A ceramic dripper for filter coffee, built around flow rate and heat retention. It takes the paper filters you already buy, so there is nothing extra to order, and the branding stays quiet on the body. Ceramic holds its heat and the paper holds back the fines, which is why the cup comes out clean and bright.

  2. Why we stock it

Our pour-over guide describes the method as the one that tells you what you actually bought. A dripper that keeps its heat and drains at a steady rate lets the coffee speak for itself, good or bad. It suits the clean, bright end of what we roast, where the brewer should stay out of the way.

  3. Using it well

Let the grind set the time. Our recipe finishes near 3 minutes: if the water is through in 2, grind finer, and if it stalls at 4, grind coarser. Then look at the water. Delhi tap runs 300–500 ppm and makes a dull, chalky filter cup, and 75–150 ppm is where we aim. The dripper cannot fix that.

How to use it

05steps
  1. Rinse the paper

Seat a paper filter in the dripper, rinse it with hot water and tip the water out. It takes the papery taste off the cup.

  2. Add the coffee

Put in 15 g of coffee ground medium, about table salt or a touch coarser, and level the bed. Zero a scale with the brewer on it.

  3. Bloom

Start the timer and pour 45 g of water at 94 °C in a spiral from the centre outward, keeping off the paper. Wait until 0:45.

  4. Pour twice

At 0:45 pour up to 150 g. At 1:15 pour up to 250 g. Keep the stream thin and slow.

  5. Let it drain

The water should be through by about 3:00, leaving a flat, level bed. Faster means grind finer. Slower means grind coarser.

Keep it

Hand wash and dry it. Give it its own space in the sink, because ceramic chips where it knocks.

Pair it

  • A medium light coffee, ground medium.
  • A kettle with a thin, steady pour.

Ask us

05questions
Which filters does it take?

Paper filters, the kind you already buy. Rinse the paper with hot water before the coffee goes in. If you are unsure of the size, message us on WhatsApp before you order.

What grind should I use?

Medium, about table salt or a touch coarser. If the cup is sour, grind finer. If it is bitter, grind coarser. Change one thing at a time.

Can it go in the dishwasher?

Hand wash it and dry it. Ceramic chips where it knocks, so give it its own space in the sink.

Do I need a gooseneck kettle?

No. A normal kettle works if you pour slowly and keep the stream low. A gooseneck makes a thin, steady stream easier to place, and that is what keeps the bed flat.

How long does delivery take?

Packed after you order and dispatched within 1–2 working days. Delivery usually takes 3–6 days across India, depending on where you are, and shipping is free.
