Gemblary Estate stands in the Shevaroy Hills above Yercaud, held by the same family since 1977 and now in its fourth generation. Coffee grows under jackfruit, silver oak and mandarin orange, and ripe cherries are hand-picked and screened before washing.

The medium-dark roast builds body and caramelisation without burying the fruit. Filter drinks clean and rounded and sweetens as it cools; espresso turns syrupy and stays legible through milk.

A washed coffee taken slightly deeper than usual, to gain body and caramelisation while the fruit stays readable. It sits at the centre of the series: comforting, but still fruit-led.
